PROJECT PROFILES

BRANSON WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM EXPANSION

Branson, Missouri

MAI is providing surveying, preliminary and final design work and all steps necessary to advertise, bid and award the construction contract.  The four expansion projects are located throughout the City and include designing 16-inch DIP water mains that connect to existing facilities.  The expansions allow for looped water mains, connections to three elevated storage tanks and provide a redundant connection to the Meadows Water Treatment Plant.  Approximately 14,500 linear feet of 16-inch water main, fire hydrants, valves, fittings, thrust blocking and appurtenances are being designed.  The necessary hydraulic calculations were prepared for submittal to the DNR for a construction permit.  The estimated construction cost is $1.5 million.
