
CITY UTILITIES OF SPRINGFIELD, CONTRACT SURVEYING SERVICES
Springfield, Missouri MAI has contracted general surveying services to City Utilities of Springfield since 1994. This includes providing property descriptions and plats of new utility easements; construction staking of electric, gas, and water facilities; topographic and boundary surveys for new transmission lines; and platting services for the Partnership Industrial Center, a 350 acre industrial park subdivision in Northeast Springfield, Missouri.
INTERSTATE 71 AT HIGHWAY 150
Belton, Missouri
MAI has teamed with George Butler Associates, Inc. on this interchange improvement project for the Missouri Department of Transportation. The survey responsibilities include collection of topographic data for mapping and floodway studies. Using Microstation/GEOPAK software along with the MoDOT coding requirements, MAI is providing topographic data for GBA and MAI engineering design work.
HOME DEPOT, SITE DEVELOPMENT
Springfield, Missouri
This private development project of 14 acres in Southeast Springfield included an ALTA survey of the site, complete topographic survey including all utilities and storm water facilities, determination of property boundary and right-of-way locations and construction staking. It also required working closely with the City of Springfield Subdivision and Zoning Services and the Public Work Departments to resolve various platting and easement issues.
FARM ROAD 135, ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS
Greene County, Missouri
MAI has contracted with Harrington & Cortelyou, Inc. to provide surveying services for this 3.5 mile county road improvement project. The scope of services include: researching and locating the existing rights-of-way; topographic surveys of the project corridor; property ownership research and subsequent preparation of easement deeds and exhibits; and the staking of proposed rights-of-way and easements.
SPRING BRANCH TRUNK SEWER LINE
Springfield, Missouri
This two mile trunk sewer line project North of Springfield required complete boundary survey services to determine the project alignment and to prepare easement documents. Topographic survey data was collected sufficient to supplement the contour mapping available from aerial photography provided by the City of Springfield. Project control was established using MAI's Real Time Kinematic GPS system, and was tied to State Plane Coordinates from local DNR control monuments.
