Gary joined MAI in 2002 and coordinates project management duties, engineering analysis and assists as a client liaison on special transportation related projects.  He participates in the formulation of ideas and solutions, conceptual design and long range planning.

He offers more than 33-years experience in civil engineering and transportation related projects. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineer from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1969.  Gary has been a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri since 1977.

Gary recently retired from MoDOT where he served for 33 years.  Most recently, Gary was the Assistant District Engineer for District 8. Other work there included:

• Innovative financing for transportation projects at the State and Federal levels.

• Project Development from conceptual design through construction plans.

• Traffic handling analysis and solutions.

Gary served four years in the United States Airforce as a Site Development Specialist.
